»Mediterranean United« is the project initiative of the NGOs from Palestine, Jordan, Syria, Greece, Germany, Poland, Italy and Slovenia.
The project is coordinated by Zavod Voluntariat.

This Euro-Mediterranean partnership, co-financed by Anna Lindh Foundation, was created with an objective to develop and concretize long term cooperation between civil society from various Euro-Mediterranean regions involved in educational and voluntary activities related to migration phenomena. Our common value is volunteerism.

Throughout the project we keep challenging the issue of the involvement of volunteers in the activities that concern migration issues. The volunteers are learned to understand and respect cultural diversity and migration issues, the migrants are given an opportunity for support and expression of their needs in order to be better understood in the local environments, and the governments get relevant practical information on the problematic of migrants in their countries.
