The final conference “Migrations in the Euro-Mediterranean region through Human Rights Perspective” took place in Ljubljana (Slovenia) on December 9, 2010. The conference dealt with migration phenomena through human rights perspective in the Euro-Mediterranean region, with an aim to address the main issues that impact development cooperation in the region.
The following questions were exposed:

• What are the main issues and challenges in the field of migration through human rights perspective in the Euro-Mediterranean region?
• What roles do individual organisations and/or institutions play or should play in the field of migration and development cooperation in Euro-Mediterranean region?
• How can the civil society contribute to better awareness about migrant issues in Euro-Mediterranean region and how can it actively contribute in development cooperation? How can volunteerism impact the addressed issues?
